Questions about coaching?

Here are a few things you might be wondering.

Request a Free Consultation
What happens in a session?

We talk about what brings you here and practice skills for communication and connection. All sessions are virtual and for adults 18+. Everyone remains fully clothed, with no sexual activity.

Can I attend alone or with my partner?

You can attend on your own or with a partner. Many people begin individually, even when what they want to change involves a relationship. Your partner does not need to participate.

What if I don’t know what I want?

You don’t need to know before you begin. Discovering your desires is part of the work.

Can we talk about desire differences, fantasy, or kink?

Yes. There’s room to explore desire differences, fantasy, kink, and whatever is or isn’t working for you, without judgment.

What does it cost? Do you accept insurance?

Individual coaching is $175 for 60 minutes. Couples coaching is $225 for 75 minutes. Coaching is private pay; insurance is not accepted. You can start with a free 15-minute consultation by phone or video.

How many sessions will I need?

There is no minimum commitment. We’ll discuss your goals and decide together whether a few sessions or ongoing coaching is preferable.

Is what we discuss confidential?

Your privacy matters. What you share in coaching is treated as private, subject to the terms and limitations described in your coaching agreement.

Is this therapy?

No. Coaching is educational and experiential, focused on awareness, communication, and practical skills. It is not psychotherapy, mental health treatment, or medical care, and does not replace services from a licensed healthcare professional.

Can I work with you if I’m already in therapy?

Often, yes. Coaching and therapy can complement one another when their roles are clear. With your permission, I can also collaborate with your therapist or other healthcare professionals when appropriate.

What if my concern is medical?

Coaching does not diagnose or treat medical conditions. Medical symptoms should be evaluated by an appropriate healthcare professional. Coaching can complement medical care, but does not replace it.
