Meet Bree

Bree Arlyn-Pessin, J.D.

Bree Arlyn-Pessin is a Los Angeles-based intimacy and sex coach, founder of Intimacy with Bree, and creator of The CLEAR Intimacy Framework℠, a five-step approach to exploring connection, desire, and pleasure.

She helps individuals and couples understand their desires, navigate differences, and deepen intimacy. Together, they build body awareness, challenge limiting beliefs about sex, and explore new ways to connect.

Her Approach

Bree combines experiential coaching, guided communication exercises, role-playing, reflection, body awareness, and mindfulness to help clients understand their desires, communicate openly, and make room for pleasure. Her approach is practical, collaborative, and responsive to each client’s needs.

A Special Focus on Parkinson’s and Intimacy

Following her diagnosis of cervical dystonia, a neurological movement disorder, Bree developed a personal interest in how neurological conditions affect intimacy. This inspired her focus on people living with Parkinson’s and their partners. She helps clients navigate changes in desire and sexual response, fatigue, movement limitations, body image, and the relationship shifts that can accompany caregiving.

Changes in physical abilities do not signal the end of sexual pleasure or meaningful intimacy. Through education, open communication, and creative adaptation, she helps individuals and couples explore what feels good, possible, and connecting as their needs evolve. Bree follows emerging research on Parkinson’s and intimacy and collaborates with a neurologist at Cedars-Sinai to support conversations about intimacy and relationships in Parkinson’s care.

Her Background

Before becoming an intimacy and sex coach, Bree practiced law as a business litigator. She earned her Juris Doctor from Loyola University Chicago and her Bachelor of Arts from the University of California, San Diego. Her legal career sharpened her ability to listen closely, ask thoughtful questions, recognize patterns, and navigate sensitive conversations. Today, she brings those same skills to coaching, along with warmth, humor, and a refreshingly direct approach.

Raised in an environment where sex was rarely discussed openly, Bree developed a particular appreciation for honest, shame-free conversations about intimacy and pleasure. She loves talking about sex and helping other people feel comfortable talking about it, too. Whether she’s coaching individuals and couples or leading workshops and presentations, she brings curiosity, humor, and practical insights to subjects that are often left unspoken.

Bree completed Somatica® Institute’s Core Training in sex and relationship coaching and continues to expand her knowledge through advanced training, sexual health conferences, workshops, and study of leading approaches to desire, communication, and connection.

Bree works virtually with individuals and couples worldwide. Married since 1999 and the mother of two grown children, she enjoys salsa dancing, hiking, and live music, and believes there’s always more to discover about connection, intimacy, and pleasure.
